UPDATE August 13, 2015 -- Monroe Police say both suspects have been identified and Kennewick Police are filing charges that will include the Monroe Walmart case. FUGITIVES WANTED IN MONROE July 24, 2015 -- Cameras catch a pair of bold serial shoplifters who cops say have hit on both sides of the state -- bolting from the Walmart in Monroe with $2,700 in electronics. “We had a couple come into the store and they went to the electronics section,” says Debbie Willis with the Monroe Police Department. “There they asked for some iPads, to look at some iPads and some 'Beats By Dre' earphones and once the employee of the store was distracted they took them and ran. What we've learned in the last month is that they hit a Walmart store in Everett in the middle of June and then the first of July they hit a Target and Walmart in Kennewick.”

The video shows how they strike: They're both at the register and what they want to steal is now behind it after the clerk gathered it up for them. Then just seconds after he walks away -- they swoop in and swipe the goods -- first the big guy in the purple shirt and glasses snags the ‘Beats By Dre’ headphones, then she comes from the other side and grabs the iPads. They both sprint for the front door and don't stop until you see them get into what detectives think is a silver BMW – and drive off. Police in Monroe, Everett and Kennewick all want to know their names and get them stopped before they strike again.
