Seattle weather: More lowland rain, mountain snow for Friday
Showers will start our Friday with more lowland rain and mountain snow throughout the afternoon.
SEATTLE - Western Washington will see another round of breezy wind and rain Friday night into Saturday morning as the next low pressure system takes aim at the Pacific Northwest.
Friday will see a nice break from the rain midday with cooler temperatures, back close to seasonal averages. Widespread rain will return Friday evening after sunset.

Winds will not be terribly strong Friday night into Saturday, with gusts peaking out in the 30-40 mph range.

Mountain snow will continue in the Washington Cascades, with 6 to 18 inches expected for most spots above 3,500 feet. The higher up you go, the more you'll get. Snoqualmie Pass may be left with a mix of snow and rain.
A continued wet pattern will bring rounds of rain showers through Monday morning, but by Monday afternoon, we should see another break from the rain that will last through Tuesday.
