1 injured in West Seattle shooting
WEST SEATTLE, Wash - A 55-year-old man was shot after opening his front door in West Seattle Tuesday morning, according to Seattle Police.
SPD says the shooting happened on Delridge Way SW near SW Juneau Street around 6:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, police located a 55-year-old man with a gunshot wound that appeared to be non-life-threatening.
SPD said the man told officers he heard someone knocking on his apartment door, and when he opened his front door he was shot by a known suspect.
Officers provided medical aid to the man until SFD arrived on scene. SPD says the victim was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
The suspect fled and has not yet been located.
