16-year-old pleads not guilty to killing Federal Way student Wesley Gennings
KENT, Wash. -- A 16-year-old high school student accused of killing another Federal Way 16-year-old pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder Monday.
Michael Rodgers, who is being charged as an adult, appeared in King County Superior Court. He is accused, with a 14-year-old, of fatally shooting Wesley Gennings, 16, in order to steal Gennings' marijuana.
The 14-year-old suspect is being charged as a juvenile.
