24-year-old shot several times on street in Central District

SEATTLE -- A 24-year-old man was shot multiple times in Seattle's Central District Thursday night, police said.

Officers found the man lying in the street at 26th Avenue and East  Columbia Street at about 7:30 p.m. . Medics arrived and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Police were investigating.
