3 killed in overnight crash on I-90

Troopers are investigating after a deadly wrong-way crash on I-90 on Mercer Island.

MERCER ISLAND, Wash. - Three people are dead after a wrong-way crash overnight on I-90 in Mercer Island. 

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-90, past Island Crest Way before midnight. 

According to the Washington State Patrol, a car was traveling the wrong way when it crashed into another car head-on. 

The driver in the car traveling the wrong way, and the driver and a passenger in the other car died at the scene.
