Lynnwood, WA police searching for suspects accused of killing boy
Police in Lynnwood are searching for people suspected in a deadly shooting of a boy.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - A boy was killed and another injured in a shooting on New Year's Eve in Lynnwood, according to local police.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 8:19 p.m. in the 19700 block of 68th Avenue West.
Upon arrival, officers found a boy who had died in a parking lot and another injured boy nearby. The injured boly was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Lynnwood police said that two suspects fled the scene on foot and remain at large. Authorities believe this was an isolated incident and that there was no active threat to the public.
