Lynnwood police request public help ID non-profit ring thief

Lynnwood police are asking for the public’s help to ID a man who stole a $1200 ring from a non-profit store.

The ring is a vintage free mason 14k gold ring with a natural ruby that was donated to Bella’s Voice in Lynnwood. Bella's Voice is a thrift store that raises money to help animals in need.

The man came into the store Thursday night and asked to see a ring in a case. The $1,200 ring is the most expensive item in store.

When the clerk showed it to him, he took it and proceeded to walk out the door without paying.  At the front door, he pushed past one of the supervisors on the way out.

"We are pretty upset. We do have a lot of donors who donate nice items so that we can help the animals. Sales like this help us fund and stock our pet food bank so it's pretty hard when this happens. It's upsetting," said Bella's Voice Executive Director Jordan Hoffman-Nelson.

Upon looking at the footage, it’s believed that it is the same man who did this 2 1/2 weeks ago, stealing a necklace.

Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.  Text his name through the P3 Tips App or call 1-800-222-TIPS.  It is anonymous.
