Child porn suspect busted working at Evergreen State Fair
MONROE, Wash. -- A 38-year-old man working as a carnival employee in the children’s amusement section of the Evergreen State Fair and suspected of child porn trafficking was arrested Friday for an outstanding, out-of-state warrant for forgery.
Dale Roy Fager was wanted on a forgery fugitive warrant out of Indiana.
Court papers here said police believe he went online to allegedly share explicit photographs of young girls. According to court papers, he reportedly sent emails about an interest in pedophilia, and a desire to marry a child as young as six.
Investigators say the man used the screen name “Karney37”.
Interim county spokeswoman Bronlea Mishler said there is no evidence Fager did anything wrong at the fair. The suspect in this case passed the background check because it didn't show his warrant in Indiana, according to Mishler.
The arrest marked the second time in two years a suspected sex offender has been caught working at the fair.
