Crews trying to rescue father and son stuck on cliffs at Snoqualmie Pass
SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. -- Crews are trying to rescue a father and son who are stuck on some cliffs west of Snoqualmie Pass.
Searchers said Friday morning they had located the missing hikers and were able to speak with them.
King County sheriff's deputies said a technical rescue team was attempting a rope rescue near Little Kulla Lake.
Henning and Paul Braess are experienced hikers visiting form Germany, deputies said, but are not familiar with the local area.
Hypothermia is a big concern because temperatures were in the 30s and there was even some snow reported in the area.
