1 dead, 1 hospitalized in head-on crash in Snohomish, WA
SNOHOMISH, Wash. - Road closures were in effect Friday afternoon after a high-speed crash killed one person and sent another to the hospital in Snohomish.
First responders with Snohomish County Fire say the incident was a high-speed crash resulting in a head-on collision between two pick-up trucks in the area of Bunk Foss Road and South Machias Road.
The driver of one vehicle died at the scene while the other driver was transported by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett with non-life-threatening injuries, according to SCFD.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office closed a portion of the road Friday afternoon while investigators worked to understand the cause of the crash.
