Elk outnumber people in central Wash. county

SEATTLE -- Elk are reported to outnumber people in one Washington county, and hunters couldn't be happier.
The Everett Herald reported that the state's Departmet of Fish and Wildlife believes as many as 18,000 elk live in Kittitas County, which is located in Central Washington.
With word of so much game, hunters across the state are flocking to the area; the Herald reported the county attracted 22,000 hunters in 2011.
Early archery season for elk and deer has already started and firearm season will start soon.
