SHERWOOD, Ore (KPTV) -A former Sherwood High School teacher is facing charges of sex abuse, the alleged victims are two former students.

Washington County deputies say Denise Keesee turned herself into detectives today after months of investigation.

A grand jury indicted Keesee Monday on six counts of second degree sex abuse.

She is being charged for having sexual relationships with two of her former male students, while they were still attending the school.  The relationships occurred at separate times between 2006 and 2012.

Detectives suspect there are more victims who were involved with Mrs. Keesee.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office began investigating Keesee back in October, after the Department of Human services tipped them off to the situation.

The Sherwood School District placed Keesee on administrative leave in November after learning she was under investigation.

Keesee officially resigned from her position at the high school last month.

FOX 12 has also learned that Keesee's husband was a school resource officer at Sherwood High, as well as the school's lacrosse coach until January.

He was reassigned as a Sherwood Patrol officer shortly after, according to WCSO.

No one at the Keesee family home wanted to make a statement on the situation and neither did the Sherwood School District.

Detectives expect Keesee to post bail sometime Monday night, but for now she remains behind bars.

She's due back in court Tuesday afternoon for her first appearance.
