Fallen tree, unstable hillside force road closure near West Valley Highway

EDGEWOOD, Wash. - Jovita Boulevard at West Valley Highway and at 114th Avenue is closed because of a downed tree across the roadway.
According to Pierce County government, the tree is 4-5 feet in diameter.
The Edgewood Fire Department said the hillside it fell from is unstable.
The road will remain closed until the tree is removed and the hillside is assessed.
