Family asks for information about Vancouver woman's killer

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — The family of a 66-year-old Vancouver, Washington woman whose death is being investigated as a homicide are asking for the public's help identifying the killer.

The Columbian reports that police found Sharon Allison dead inside her apartment May 9 at the Columbia House, a Vancouver Housing Authority building for low-income senior citizens. The Clark County medical examiner's office says she died of blunt head trauma.

Allison's brother, Paul Allison of Oklahoma, says his sister suffered a double brain aneurysm 20 years ago, which left her slower mentally and paralyzed on one side of her body. She used a walker.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, average build with short light brown hair.
