Jail guard charged with forcing inmate to have sex in supply closet
EVERETT — A Snohomish County Jail corrections officer has been charged with forcing an inmate to give him oral sex.
Sean Christopher Wright, 34, faces one count of felony first-degree custodial sexual misconduct.
According to court documents filed in Snohomish County Superior Court Thursday, Wright forced a female inmate to give him oral sex in a jail supply closet on May 11. He also allegedly threatened to make the inmate's life inside the jail "real hard" if she told anyone. The woman told detectives she had "at least two sexual encounters" with Wright while she was an inmate.
Court papers also allege Wright gave female inmates special privileges, such as cookies or extra time out of their cell, if they let Wright watch them shower or change clothes.
Wright, who has worked at the jail since September 2010, has been on administrative leave since June 5, according to the Everett Herald.
