Vice President Kamala Harris is in Seattle for a fundraising event on Saturday, creating some traffic delays around the Puget Sound.
SEATTLE - Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Seattle on Saturday for an evening fundraising event, creating some traffic delays for local drivers.
VP Harris flew into Boeing Field on Air Force Two around 4 p.m. and left around 7 p.m.
Harris attended a fundraising event at a classified location in Seattle, reportedly for the Biden Victory Fund.
Northbound I-5 was shut down for around 40 minutes as Harris' motorcade made its way to Seattle. Some drivers experienced more delays in the evening as she exited.
Harris' visit comes just over three weeks since President Biden arrived in the Emerald City on Air Force One, also attending a fundraising event.

President Biden will be in town until May 11, which will disrupt flights when Air Force One takes off at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Meanwhile, drivers should be aware of potential major road closures, on top of already scheduled construction projects.

Harris was last in Seattle in October 2023 to push the Biden Administration's agenda on clean energy.
