Labor Day weekend looks dry

An area of low pressure just offshore has tapped into some tropical moisture and pouring rain across the state. By the time it’s all said and done, the coast can expect to pick up on 1”-2” of needed rainfall while the lowlands will get anywhere from .25”-1.25.”

The rain will taper off by tonight, but won’t be completely out of here until tomorrow morning. High pressure will begin to build into Western Washington tomorrow allowing for sunshine the rest of the weekend. Highs will be near 80 degrees by Sunday.

Labor Day will see an increase in clouds, but should be a decent day nonetheless. Highs will be near 76 degrees. The rest of the work week looks “normal” with mainly dry conditions and highs in the mid-70s.
