More than 94% of WA state employees complied with vaccine mandate, officials say
OLYMPIA, Wash. - More than 94% of state employees complied with Washington's vaccine mandate, according to officials.
Data from the state's Office of Financial Management (OFM) shows that, out of 62,591 state employees, 56,866—or almost 91%—provided proof of vaccination. Another 1,999 employees were allowed an accommodation, putting the percentage of compliance at more than 94%.

Based on this data, OFM reports 1,785 employees, or 2.9%, have lost their jobs.
The remaining 1,941, or 3.1%, of employees are pending action, meaning they are waiting on accommodations, vaccinations, retirement or are in the process of being terminated from their job.
