Motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, Wash. -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV Thursday morning in Edgewood.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department said lanes of Merdian Avenue were blocked in both directions starting at 5:15 a.m. at Jovita Blvd.

The road was expected to be cleared by 10:00 a.m., police said.
