New case of measles reported in King County

KING COUNTY -- A new case of the measles has surfaced in the Seattle area from someone who was likely infected overseas.

Health officials said the person infected was at Sea-Tac Airport and the Bistro Restaurant at the Courtyard Seattle Federal Way Hotel on September 6th -- between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.

The most likely time someone would get sick is between now and September 27th, officials said.

If you may have been exposed and experience a fever or unexplained rash, seek medical help. Just remember to call the clinic or hospital before you arrive.
