3 suspects wanted in connection with deadly stabbing outside Lakewood bar turn themselves in

Three suspects who were wanted in connection with a deadly stabbing outside of a Lakewood bar have turned themselves in, according to Lakewood police.

Around 1 a.m. on Nov. 6, police responded to a report of a stabbing at the Oaktree Food and Drink at 8011 Steilacoom Boulevard Southwest.

When officers got to the scene, they found a 31-year-old man with stab wounds in the parking lot.

Life-saving measures were performed on the man but he died from his injuries at the scene.

Investigators said the man was in an altercation with three men at the bar, which spilled out into the parking lot and led to the man getting stabbed.

The three men turned themselves in on Nov. 10. They were interviewed by detectives and released.

Detectives say they are continuing to interview others who may have witnessed the stabbing.

"Once the investigation is completed, detectives will present the case to the prosecutor for consideration of any applicable charges," Lakewood police said.

Detectives have not identified the suspects and have not released any additional information on what happened.
