"It’s our first nature—you want to protect your property. You want to go out and try to stop that from occurring. But at the same time, the risk—and this is an incident that could have very easily turned deadly. Fortunately, it did not," said Dave Woods, Assistant Chief of Fife Police Department.
"In that situation, we request that you be the best witness possible. If this incident were to occur call 911, get us on the line, give us as much information as possible and let us try to stop that vehicle," Woods said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
