SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. - A female hiker was rescued after a fall in the Guye Peak area of Snoqualmie Pass on Sunday afternoon.
What they're saying:
"Completed a rescue on Guye Peak this afternoon. A climber was injured in a nasty fall," said KCSO.
Due to the location of the fall, Eastside Fire and Rescue reports they had called in Guardian 2 to help facilitate the rescue just before 1 p.m. on Jan. 19.
During rescue efforts earlier in the day, EFR said the "patient is conscious and communicating with rescue teams." In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the agency says Snoqualmie Pass Fire District 51 and KCSAR joined the efforts.
