Seattle announces locations of 'cooling shelters' ahead of heat wave
SEATTLE -- With the National Weather Service issuing an Excessive Heat Warning for Western Washington from Thursday afternoon through late Saturday night, the city of Seattle on Wednesday announced locations of "cooling shelters" for residents.

The following Seattle Public Library locations are equipped with air conditioning, and serve as cooling centers when the area experiences extreme heat.
