Seattle man accused of attacking man with sword, fleeing on stunt bike
SEATTLE - Police arrested a man accused of attacking a man with a sword and fleeing on a stunt bike in Seattle's Chinatown-International District.
According to Seattle police, two men got into an argument at an apartment complex near Eighth Ave S and S King St. During the argument, the 41-year-old suspect pulled a sword concealed in his cane and slashed the other man's face, cutting his lower lip.
The suspect is then believed to have gotten on a BMX-style bike and sped away.
Officers were called to the scene around 6:37 a.m., where they found a 51-year-old man with a wound on his lip. Police treated him, then Seattle Fire Department paramedics arrived to take him to Harborview Medical Center.
Police located the suspect only a few blocks away at Hing Hay Park, arrested him and booked him into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
