Suspects use stolen forklift in Seattle ATM theft
SEATTLE - Seattle police are looking for suspects who tried to steal two ATMs from a credit union in the Fremont neighborhood early Monday morning.
What we know:
At about 3 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break-in at the BECU at 4319 Stone Way North.
When officers arrived at the scene, about three to four suspects were a block away attempting to load an ATM into a vehicle.
The suspects dropped the ATM and ran away in two or three different and drove away in two different directions.

One of the ATMs was stolen, and the other was left behind.
According to police, the forklift was stolen by the suspects a few blocks away from the credit union.
The investigation remains ongoing.
