Two Arlington officers taken to hospital after crash

ARLINGTON, Wash. -- A woman was arrested on suspicious of DUI after crashing into two police officers in Arlington early Thursday morning.

The collision happened at approximately 1:42 a.m. on SR 530 just west of Smokey Point Blvd.

Two officers, one of whom was in training, were traveling on SR-530 and turned left onto another road, where a woman in a vehicle was driving with no lights. She slammed into them, sending her and the two officers to the hospital.

The two officers have been released from the hospital. There's no word yet on 23-year-old woman's condition, though police said she will be arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Washington State Patrol is now handling the investigation.
