Crews repair damaged expansion joint on SB I-5 in Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. - According to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), maintenance crews have successfully repaired a faulty expansion joint on Interstate 5 at Spokane St. Bridge, all lanes have reopened.
WSDOT says all lanes of Southbound Interstate 5 reopened at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Earlier this morning, WSDOT closed two right lanes for maintenance crews to repair an expansion joint that was sticking out of the road.
WSDOT is thanking drivers for being patient and driving carefully around the work zone.
