Busy day at training camp: Graham returns, Ifedi fights, Reed and Webb hobbled

SEATTLE – It was a busy morning at Seattle Seahawks training camp.

Jimmy Graham returned, Germain Ifedi got feisty and Jarran Reed and J’Marcus Webb both suffered (hopefully) minor injuries on Wednesday at the VMAC as the Seahawks prepared for their first preseason game.

The return of tight end Graham, who underwent patellar tendon surgery on Dec. 2, comes hot on the heels of Thomas Rawls’ return Tuesday. Both expected offensive starters started training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Later in practice, the Hawks suffered a potential blow when Reed – a defensive tackle and the team’s second-round pick this year – was carted off the field. Reporters on the scene said it appeared he injured his lower-left leg after he was stepped on during a pass-rush drill.

Webb also left practice, leaving the field with ice on his right knee, but his injury didn’t appear major.

Finally, Ifedi got into some post-play scraps as has become his custom in camp. The first-round draft pick reportedly got in a shoving match with linebacker K.J. Wright, then bickered with cornerback Richard Sherman.
