Flooding is expected to continue in Skagit County from Monday through Tuesday due to the heavy rain hitting the region. 

From heavy rain to flooding and now the wind, the weather is packing a punch in Western Washington.

High wind warnings have been issued for parts of the North Sound and along the Coast. These warnings will go into effect for the North Sound tomorrow.

Western Washington got a few hours of break from the rain Friday night into Saturday, but the wet weather, and some people are getting prepared for the possibility of more flooding.

After a mostly quiet Saturday we're now seeing the start of another atmospheric river pump in more rain and wind throughout the region.  Get ready for round two as conditions will become pretty sloppy at times Sunday into Monday.  

The wet weather led to flooding on several area roads in King County, forcing road closures throughout the day.

We're finally getting a little break from the soggy weather.  This brief dry period will only last through Saturday afternoon though, so don't get used to it!  We have round two on the way!  Another atmospheric river hits the area delivering a good amount of rain once again! 

Two bear cubs who were rescued from the Twenty Five Mile Fire in Chelan this summer are on track to be released back into the wild. 

The U.S. Coast Guard used two helicopters to rescue campers from rising waters at an RV park on the Oregon Coast Friday, mudslides shut down roads and a woman was plucked from a swollen river as a second day of heavy rains and flooding pummeled the Pacific Northwest.

Heavy rain will taper off in the lowlands Friday afternoon, but some Western Washington rivers will rise to moderate or major flood stage by this evening.
