Can You ID Me? Unknown woman accused of stealing from elderly woman in hospital

WANTED IN KING COUNTY -- It's been three years and more than 60 subjects have been identified as part of the "Can You ID Me" Washington state crime-fighting website that launched in July 2010. Mercer Island detectives are hoping to identify a woman accused of preying on an elderly person who was in the hospital due to an injury. . Surveillance video from an Albertson's grocery store shows the suspect at the register. Unfortunately, one of the flags from a hanging store decoration is covering the spot where she's standing most of the time. In the video you can see a checkbook she's using, which police said she got when she snuck into that elderly woman's hospital room and stole it. She used five checks from it at different stores and detectives know this wasn't her first strike: "I got word from an Albertson's loss prevention agent that though the canyouid.me website -- he saw the picture and recognized her as being a previous suspect, writing bad checks from elderly victims accounts at different Albertson's stores," detective Todd Roggenkamp of the Mercer Island Police Department said.
