CAPTURED: Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies arrest wanted child molester after WMW viewer tip


CAPTURED -- Monday, December 2, 2109

Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies arrested wanted child molester Christopher Guzman early Sunday morning.

According to SCSO Communications Specialist Courtney O'Keefe, deputies responded to a warrant call in the 9600 block of 6th Ave NW in unincorporated Marysville after an anonymous tipster said Christopher Guzman was at the location and was featured on WMW.

Shortly after, Guzman was seen leaving the residence in a vehicle (in the passenger seat). Deputies made a traffic stop on the vehicle and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into the Snohomish County jail on his Department of Corrections warrant and two drug related charges.

Guzman is WMW Capture #1132 thanks to the tipster and the great work by SCSO deputies.


WANTED IN MARYSVILLE -- DOC Officers are asking for the public's help to find Christopher Guzman.  The 41-year--old was convicted of two counts of Child Molestation 2nd Degree in 2016.

Guzman is wanted on a Department of Corrections warrant for his arrest after he failed to check in with his supervising officer.   He also has a pending case from Marysville Police for Felony Eluding.

His other convictions include Assault 4th Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance after officers found meth and heroin in his car.  He drives a 2012 maroon Audi S3 with a custom front end and WA license BRB7305.

Guzman does not have a job but officers say he lives off his pension as a former U.S. Marine.

He is 5'11", 221 pounds.
