Mostly dry weather on forecast during Christmas week after record-breaking rainfall
SEATTLE – After record rainfall at four airports (Sea-Tac, Olympia, Hoquiam, and Bellingham), the stretch of steady rain is finally tapering off.
For the most part, Monday and Tuesday are pretty dry.
Christmas Day features a little less sunshine and a slight chance of morning showers with mostly cloudy skies. Highs and lows will be near our seasonal averages of 45 and 35 degrees.
Thursday, we're mostly sunny, while Friday may start off the same by midday we'll increase the cloud cover for a partly cloudy afternoon.
We'll have a better shot of seeing showers return toward the end of the week.
Overnight lows will sit in the mid to upper 30s. And at this point, the big Sunday night matchup between our Seahawks and the 49ers calls for showers! That's perfect football weather right?
