Seattle Weather: Light showers Wednesday with more weekend sunshine

Foggy skies this morning with mid and high level clouds pushing in throughout the day kept our afternoon a little cooler.

Tuesday's high temperatures around Western Washington.

A cooler than normal day today thanks to the increased cloud cover.

A weak disturbance and front passing to our north will slide a few light showers into our region late tonight and early Wednesday morning. Clouds will decrease during the day and sunbreaks will be possible just before sunset.

The futurecast map showing light showers moving through Western Washington early Wednesday.

Weak disturbance passing to our north will bring light rain chances to some spots overnight.

Rainfall amounts will be generally light with only a few hundredths of an inch possible. Snow levels remain around 6500' high today and tomorrow, so only light snowfall is possible above pass levels. There is a better chance for snow on Friday for all our area slopes.

Forecast rainfall totals around Western Washington.

A quick shot a some light rain/ sprinkles tonight. Amounts will be less than .10".

No big changes in our weather as a fairly quiet week is ahead with a chance to enjoy a little sunshine at times. The best chance of showers will be on Friday, along with some mountain snow. Afternoon temperatures will remain near normal around the mid and upper 40s.

It will be mainly dry this week in Seattle, with the best chance for rain on Friday. (FOX13 Seattle)
