SEATTLE - We're tracking a big cooldown ahead for Seattle and western Washington this upcoming workweek. For Super Bowl Sunday, we're forecasting mostly dry and cool conditions.

Morning clouds will give way to late afternoon sunbreaks Sunday in Seattle. The clouds will clear from the north to the south tonight. While we can't rule out a light shower today, this would be the exception rather than the rule.

Over the next several days, we're forecasting dry, cold and sunny weather. Overnight lows will flirt with records for the coldest low temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday.

These frigid temperatures will be dangerous for those who are unhoused or don't have adequate access to heating. We'll be monitoring the situation closely. Here are resources for warming shelters.
