SEATTLE - A man in his 20s was seriously injured in a shooting overnight in North Seattle, police said.
The shooting happened at the Emerald Motel's parking lot in the 12000 block of Aurora Avenue North before midnight Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they found the man laying in the parking lot.
According to police, the victim, a 26-year-old man, was talking to another man when he pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The suspect fled the scene in a car.
Investigators said the man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
Seattle police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
