15-year-old arrested in Bremerton after incident with look-alike gun

BREMERTON, Wash. -- Bremerton police arrested a 15-year-old boy after he pointed what looked like a handgun at another teen and made him walk down the street.

Police received calls reporting someone was pointing a gun at another on Saturday night and located five young men between the ages of 14 and 16. One dropped the handgun when officers approached.

The 15 year old told officers that the handgun was a pellet pistol and he was pointing it at the heads of the other teens as part of a trick. They wanted to see how many passing drivers would call 911.

Police say the juvenile had an outstanding arrest warrant for obstructing an officer and had marijuana in his pocket. He was arrested and taken to the Kitsap County Youth Services Center.

Any charges will be determined by the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office.
