22-year-old pleads not guilty to murder, assault charges in Normandy Park attack
KENT -- Shane Ryan Chamberlain, 22, pleaded not guilty to murder and assault charges Monday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 96-year-old man in his home on Jan. 25 in Normandy Park.

Chamberlain is also accused of a crowbar attack on the victim's granddaughter.
The defendant is charged with first-degree murder with a firearm enhancement and first-degree assault with a deadly weapon. The defendant remains in jail with bail set at $2 million.
A case setting hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24.
