3-year-old boy dies after being left in hot car
PASCO, Wash. -- A 3-year-old boy was found dead inside a hot car Sunday in Pasco, the Tri-City Herlad reports.
According to the Herald, police believe his parents left him in the car in the 3000 block of Seabrook Court on accident. The Franklin County Coroner's Office will release the official cause of death in the next few days.
Each year, dozens of small children die after accidentally being left in hot cars. The problem was chronicled by the Washington Post's 2009 Pulitzer-Prize winning story, "Fatal Distraction."
