Affleck already panned as choice for 'Batman'

SEATTLE -- Ben Affleck has been tapped to play Batman in Warner Brother's upcoming sequel to the Superman film "Man of Steel" -- and some comic fans are not so happy about it.

Affleck will play Bruce Wayne alongside Henry Cavill's portrayal of Clark Kent.

News of Affleck getting the role sparked a fury from Batman fans online. They want him off the movie, some saying his past role as 'Daredevil' was bad enough.

On Twitter, celebrities have been chiming in on the discussion.

The movie is expected to be released in 2015.
