1 shot, 1 injured in armed robbery in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood

Seattle police are investigating an armed robbery and shooting in the Belltown neighborhood on Thursday morning. 

What we know:

The incident happened inside of an apartment unit near 4th Avenue and Battery Street after 5:30 a.m.

According to Seattle police, one person was shot in the head and taken to Harborview Medical Center. Their condition is not known. 

Another person was pistol-whipped and taken to police headquarters to be interviewed by detectives. 

Investigators said they are still looking for at least one suspect and no arrests have been made. It's not known how many suspects were involved. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
