Bad ink? Local paper throws 'Worst Tattoo Contest'
SEATTLE -- OK, so maybe tattooing the name of your teenage crush in big letters across your chest wasn't the smartest decision ever made.
But pentagrams on your head? Good luck in a job interview.
Local alternative newspaper The Stranger recently threw a "Worst Tattoo Contest," encouraging Seattle-area residents with crudely drawn or regrettable tattoos to send a picture of the ink into the paper in hopes of winning free tattoo removal.
The winner of the contest received free removal from Seattle Skin and Laser. Second and third place winners received discounts on tattoo removal treatment.
The Stranger announced the winners on their Slog website Monday, with first place going to a man with two pentagrams inked on his forehead. Second place went to "Daddys little Gyrl" and third place went to a poorly drawn butterfly.
The paper plans to hold the contest annually, which means you'll have more chances to get that "Susie 4 Eva" tattoo removed from your bicep, forever ending wife Rebecca's not-so-subtle jabs.
