Base2Space: How you can earn the chance to walk the halo on top of the Space Needle
SEATTLE -- You could call it a publicity stunt for a good cause.
Q13 FOX sports anchor Michelle Ludtka and Brad Evans of the Seattle Sounders FC walked the halo around the Space Needle, 510 feet above ground.
This is all in advance of the Base2Space charity event to benefit the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center.
The Base2Space stair climb takes place on October 3rd at the Space Needle.
The halo walk is reserved for the top ten fundraisers. Everyone else will climb two of the intertwining open-air stairwells to the observation deck.
Fred Hutch gets 100-percent of all donations raised.
