Beacon Hill home struck by bullets; nobody hurt, but kids were inside

SEATTLE -- Police are investigating a shooting in Beacon Hill after at least two bullets hit a home with children inside.

Nobody was hurt, but children were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

The shooting happened around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 5100 block of S. Avon Street. Officers found a home with a bullet hole in a window.

A resident told officers he spoke to a man on the street after the shooting who claimed he was targeted by someone in a red Chevy truck.

Police said they did not have a description of the suspect.
