Bear roaming in Bellevue backyard
BELLEVUE, Wash. - It was a sight that she couldn't believe.
Desiree Yuzawa looked out her backyard Sunday night and saw a bear roaming around the yard.
Yuzawa lives near a greenbelt in Bellevue, yet says she has never seen any bears.
She called her neighbors and police, concerned because Somerset Elementary school is also nearby.
Yuzawa says the bear wandered off and she is unsure where it went.
Bears often wander into residential areas - looking for food. It is advised that you do not leave garbage or pet food out where they can get to it.
