Bellevue police arrest convicted high-risk sex offender, Peeping Tom who spied on woman showering
CAPTURE UPDATE July 3, 2015 -- What name would you give police if you were stopped and knew you were wanted? For level 3 sex offender Kevin Lockhart, it was Taylor S. Cavali. Lockhart has a history of being a really creepy voyeur. He was convicted of trying to watch a woman through her window as she was getting ready to shower and was wanted for failing to register. On Friday, Bellevue Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle and found Lockhart in a car with a woman at 16240 NE 14th St. in Bellevue. The woman identified herself immediately and had no warrants, but Lockhart told police his name was Taylor S. Cavali. He was very evasive in answering questions and moved around the vehicle a lot. When officers couldn't find any record of a name like that with the date of birth he gave, they detained him and were able to identify him. He had three felony warrants for his arrest and was booked into the King County jail. FUGITIVE WANTED BY DOC IN KING COUNTY June 30, 2015 -- Kevin Tyrone Lockhart, a.k.a. “Thug Lockhart,” is a wanted level 3 sex offender. in 2006, he pressed his face against a sliding glass door to watch a Mill Creek woman getting ready to shower. She heard somebody jiggling the sliding glass door to her condo so wrapped a towel around herself and left the bathroom to go see who it was. She saw him with his hands on either side of his face looking through the window and screamed. He ran towards Everett-Bothell Hwy. Police searched the area and saw a man matching his description with his pants pulled down around his ankles. He was captured with the help of a K-9 unit. He is supervised by the Department of Corrections in King County where he is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender. His criminal history includes: Misdemeanor Assault 4th Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Violation of a No Contact Order Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Criminal Trespass 2, Malicious Mischief 2, Trafficking in Stolen Property 1, Misdemeanor Criminal Trespass 2, VUCSA (Illegal Drugs) – Possess with Intent to Deliver and Failure to Register as a Felony Sex Offender. Lockhart is 5’7” and 185 pounds.
