Boeing workers fired for sexting

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Boeing Co. officials say several workers have been fired and disciplined for "inappropriate personal behavior."

The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1Xb6ps6 ) that sources at the company say the employees at the Everett plant were using company-issued phones to send sexually-explicit images via text message. The sources were not allowed to discuss the matter publicly.

Details on what exactly prompted the firing and what other disciplinary measures were taken have not been released.

Boeing Co. said in a statement that the employees' actions are not representative of the entire company.
