CAPTURED: Arlington Police say accused child molester known as 'Uncle Netto' arrested in New Mexico

FUGITIVE CAPTURED April 18, 2016  --
Arlington Police say Ernesto Luna-Tinajero was arrested at the New Mexico border on Monday after surrendering to Border Patrol .  "Please accept our sincerest thanks for airing this case! We are so pleased to have him off the streets and in custody!" said Kristin Banfield with Arlington Police.

It is not known yet when he will be extradited back to Snohomish County.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN ARLINGTON April 8, 2016 --
Arlington police are looking for an accused child molester.

Detectives say his victim was just 11 years old and knew Ernesto Luna-Tinajero as a family friend she called 'Uncle Netto.'

Police say he works as a landscaper and is traveling in an unknown make and model truck.

The accusations are too graphic to go into detail but police say Luna-Tinajero confessed to molesting the girl. "This child is going through an incredible amount of emotions and stress and needs to have this closure to have this person that she trusted, that she considered an uncle to her, that victimized her and needs to have that person in custody, away so that he doesn't hurt anybody else or her,’ says Kristin Banfield with Arlington Police.

Ernesto Luna-Tinajero could be in Marysville, Everett, Monroe, Snohomish or may have escaped to Mexico.
