Central District restaurant goes up in flames
SEATTLE -- A restaurant in the Central District caught fire early Monday morning, sending smoke and flames high into the sky.
The Med Mix restaurant near the intersection of 23rd Avenue and East Union Street caught fire sometime before 2 a.m. Firefighters called to the scene were able to put out the blaze in less than 10 minutes. No one was injured in the fire, but flames and smoke heavily damaged the building.
Seattle Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
